According to 'Career Media' observation in 2019, Chhattisgarh has not received many applications and there has been a decrease in demand among the top ranked ones and it has helped many students who have low rank to get seats there.
There are only 2 private medical colleges in Chhattisgarh, and thus the cut in student access is still well, especially in the mop up round. For the mop up round, there were 34 seats.
At Raipur Institute of Medical Science, the final rank at which a general category student got 78738 seats.
The cut off for General / OBC / SC category for private colleges was lower in Round 1 as compared to Round 2, while it was higher in Round 1 than Round 2 for ST.
