NEET's counseling rounds for medical / dental seats in the state of Telangana are officially authorized by KNRUHS - KNR University of Health Sciences.

Once a student passes the NEET, they become eligible to join the NEET counseling process. If the Telangana government wants to do MBBS in the state then students will have to apply through MCC to get AIQ seats for state quota seats and through KNRUHS.

In Telangana state, there are 10 government colleges with 21 private colleges. The government occupies 1500 seats of colleges, where 225 are allocated by AIQ (All India Quota), while the remaining 1275 seats will be handled through the state counseling process. Seats in private colleges which are 2900 will be filed by the state counseling.

The KNR University of Health Science administers the admission process of candidates applying to the Government Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges of Telangana.

Counseling rounds were arranged for 50% of the seats of the state government as well as all seats in private colleges. The round consists of two sessions; Round 1 and Round 2 respectively with the addition of Mop Up, Spot Round or Physical Round. Students who have state domicile of Telangana are eligible for government seats.

Physical verification of documents was done before NEET UG counseling process. If you have any confusion on the classification of different seats, please refer to the list below;

There are three different categories of seats in Telangana:

Category A - State Quota Seats
Category B - Management Quota Seats
Category C - NRI Quota Seats

                      CAREER MEDIA                            OBSERVATIONS

As per the result of our speculation, it is quite comfortable with the state rather than the All India Quota (A.I.Q) in the state of Telangana. For the 1st round of general category, the rank of the last allotted seat in Government Medical College, through State Counseling was Suryapet 27783. On the other hand, in the final allocation through AIQ, Government Medical College, Nalgonda had 9948 rank.

The demand for seats in the medical colleges of Telangana is very high. Therefore the cut off is also excessive in the year 2020. If you cannot make it to the end, our recommendation is to always consider another option with an equivalence on the quality of education.

Seeking the opinion of an experienced mentor or expert makes you aware of all the privileged information to enable you to deal with any alternate situation. Even the cut off of Pvt. Medical colleges are huge.

Career Media will help you throughout the counselling process to guide you and choice the best college for you
