Each government medical college has a 15% all-India quota seat. There is a separate NEET UG counseling for such seats from 100% seats of All India Kota / 100% Deemed University / Central University and Central Institute and Vardhman Mahaveer Medical College. NEET counseling of such seats is being conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). Counseling of remaining 85% government seats and 100% private medical college seats is conducted by the respective states.

The cut-off of universities increased in the year 2019 due to increasing student applications. The cut-off of deemed universities increased in the second round.

Students who wish to get admission in Armed Forces Medical College, have to register with MCC. These students will be called for interview and physical test. The list of eligible students will be shared with MCC.

                    CAREER MEDIA        OBSERVATIONS

Our observation about form and choice filling states that students loose their eligible seats as well as security deposits due to lack of knowledge. So we suggest that you fill all the options very carefully. This is particularly about Deemed University.

Students who are thinking of opposing Deemed University will have to collect all the information like fees, bonds and bank guarantee and choose an institute

Following are some aspects one should take in consideration while filling choices:

  • Basic Infrastructure

  • Patient Foot Fall in the Hospital

  • Types of Surgery Performed Earlier

  • Patients Trust in the College Hospital

  • Institution Participation in Other Activities

  • Experienced Faculties

  • Latest Medical Equipment
